Why The Red Apple Preschool?

At The Red Apple Preschool our main focus and success is dependent on making sure your child is receiving a strong foundation they can build their future on. Our Preschool provides exceptional staff and a comfortable environment that prepares your child for kindergarten. We have created a school that promotes a family atmosphere which allows them to build strong trusting relationships with their friends and teachers.

What ages do you accept at The Red Apple Preschool?

Our Preschool educates children from 24 months of age to 6 year olds. We have three groups which are Intro to Preschool (2year olds), Preschool (3 Year Olds), and Pre Kindergarten (4 & 5 year olds).

Service Learning Club

The Red Apple Preschool for kids will be working with Lake Forest, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, and Laguna Niguel to learn about service in the community. Service learning will allow our children take what they gain in the classroom and apply it to real-life situations in the community. In addition to providing an important service to the community our children in the environment learn to interact, communicate and build character.

Does The Red Apple Preschool provide food?

We offer a healthy morning snack and a healthy afternoon snack to all preschoolers. We have a monthly snack menu for families to plan accordingly. Please provide your child a daily nutritional lunch every day. We have access to a microwave to heat food up for the children if needed.

What are your teacher qualifications?

One of the biggest strengths at The Red Apple Preschool, are the educator’s. We believe that a vital part of becoming a successful Pre School is by providing your child the most qualified teacher. All staff have completed AA, BA, ECE or MA programs in Education and are CPR/First Aid Certified and have received background approvals from the Department of Social Services and the Department of Justice prior to their first day of employment. Our highly qualified teachers have a strong passion for working with children and have spent many years of their life dedicated to teaching.

What does The Red Apple Preschool curriculum emphasize on?

We work on making sure there is a good balance of Academics and play. Play is important for children because it allows them to develop socially and physically. Academic activities allow them to practice both their gross and fine motor skills. The children are prepared for entering Kindergarten and succeeding in the years to follow.
